Activities At The Outpost
Walking Trails
Walk along the various trails to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air and unwind.
Trail Rides
Journey around the farm on an ATV to see the various birds, animals, and nature that we are blessed to live amongst
Canning Classes
​Gather vegetables from the Outpost garden and collect eggs from the Chicken Coop then learn about water-bath canning, pressure canning, pickling methods, and egg preservation.
Music
Bundle up under a warm blanket in the mountain fresh air while listening to live music on stage.
Farm Tours
Go behind the scenes and learn about how Ferguson Farms operates - from the animals, and outbuildings to the hay storage, gardens, and grounds in between.
Farm To Table
Family-friendly hands-on classes led by professional Chef Luis. First, pick fresh herbs and veggies from the Outpost garden then prepare a variety of recipes with multiple courses in the Outpost Community Kitchen. Once prepared everyone dines family-style under the stars!

Bring back family time with Sunday supper nights - enjoy great food and conversation while making memories.
Polaris Tours
Experience an off-road adventure with a behind-the-scenes tour of Ferguson Farm and panoramic views of the Smokey Mountians.
You Pick It
Stroll through our Flower Gardens and gather your bouquet to dress up your Luxury Tent then learn drying techniques so you remember your trip!

Walking Trails
Stroll Outpost Walking Trails lit by solar pathway lighting to the Outpost Beach. Sit by the firepit in Adirondack chairs and enjoy the sounds of nature and Fines Creek.
Community Kitchen
Enjoy the covered outdoor Community Kitchen with a grill/propane burners etc stocked with pots, pans, and utensils…everything you need to prepare a meal. Outdoor picnic tables and under-roof seating.
Farm Stay
Enjoy all that the farm has to offer from picking flowers, viewing the vegetable gardens, seeing the beehives with fresh honey, or taking in the beautiful sunsets that Western North Carolina is famous for!
The Honest Store

Our Honest Store on the property is underway and will offer many special tokens from Ferguson Farms including honey, jams, t-shirts, hats, merchandise, produce, and meat for sale. Stay tuned for more updates
